Delete Account

Permanent deletion · No questions asked

This is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered from any source. Export your notes first if you want to keep a copy.
Account deletion is available directly in the app - no email required. Everything is wiped immediately: cloud data, local data, and your device encryption key.
How to delete your account

Export your data (optional)
Go to Settings → Export Notes to save a full JSON backup of your library - books, notes, links, and graph layout. This is the only way to preserve your data after deletion.

Tap "Delete account" in Settings
Open Settings, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to confirm - tap "Delete everything" to proceed.

Done - instantly
Your account is deleted immediately. All cloud data, local data, and your device's encryption key are wiped. You are signed out and returned to the login screen. No confirmation email is sent.
What gets deleted
Permanently deleted - cloud
  • Your Firebase Auth account and credentials
  • All books, movies and series sources
  • All notes and note content
  • All connections and graph links
  • Saved graph layout positions
  • AI usage history
  • Your user record in our PostgreSQL database
Permanently deleted - device
  • Local notes, books and connections
  • App settings and preferences
  • User profile cache
  • Encryption key (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore)

All on-device data is wiped automatically during the deletion flow - you do not need to uninstall the app separately.

Deletion timeline
Immediately - cloud
Your entire user record and all associated data is permanently deleted from our PostgreSQL database via cascade delete. Your Firebase Auth account is deleted simultaneously. No recovery is possible after this point.
Immediately - device
All local Hive data (notes, books, settings, preferences) is wiped from your device. The AES-256 encryption key is removed from the iOS Keychain / Android Keystore, making any residual encrypted data permanently unreadable.
Per Google's policy
Firebase Auth infrastructure logs are deleted according to Google's own retention schedule. See the Firebase Privacy Policy ↗ for details.
Can't access the app?

If you are unable to sign in to delete your account in-app, email imismaelhdz@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion request" and the email associated with your account. We'll process the deletion manually within 1-2 business days.
